Winners and Finalists
The 20th anniversary IDI Awards took place on Thursday, 24th January 2019 at CHQ. It was a wonderful celebration of Irish design and showcased the contribution of over 250 designers & collaborators across Ireland, and Irish designers based abroad.
We had 35 Commended and 34 Winners from the 95 shortlisted entries from over 30 different categories.
The special President’s Award for Outstanding Contribution to Design in Ireland was awarded to designers Bren Byrne and Lisa Haran, founders of Offset, in recognition of their significant contribution over time to design in Ireland.
The Grand Prix 2018 was won by Donn Holohan and Elspeth Lee (Superposition) for Sun Room.
