A leading, senior sustainability expert specialising in fashion and luxury, Kellie is currently Head of Regenerative Business at House of Hackney and sustainability advisor to the Vivienne Westwood team.
With over 16 years’ experience driving social and environmental impact for brands and providing teams with the skills to create meaningful and measurable change, Kellie has worked with Katharine Hamnett London, Manolo Blahnik, Net-A-Porter and Burberry. Through change agency Futerra, she also worked on sustainability strategies for The North Face, Google, VF Corp, COS and Lancôme amongst others.
Deirdre McQuillan is a long-established journalist and feature writer best known as the fashion editor of the Irish Times. She has covered fashion, textile and design subjects for many years and reported on London and Paris fashion weeks for nearly two decades.
A freelance feature writer, she is the author of several books including A Style Guide to Dublin, The Irish Country House Table and a history of the Aran sweater. An award-winning travel journalist, she has travelled widely reporting on fashion and textile issues and those involved all over Africa, Asia and most European countries. In 2010 she was the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Institute of Designers of Ireland.
Over the years, she has contributed to publications including Town & Country, The World and I in the US, Elle, the FT’s How to Spend It in the UK as well as The Gloss in Ireland. She has focused many recent articles for The Irish Times on sustainability and the effect of fashion on the environment and is currently passionate about the campaign for PGI status in Europe for Donegal Tweed as well as the growing use and development of Irish wool.
Zeda the Architect aka Oyindamola Animashaun is a previous fashion editor, stylist, director and producer currently based in Dublin, Ireland.
She has experience working on projects, shoots, fashion shows and music videos for artists, charities, brands, college societies. Over her budding career, she has been lucky to work with artists organisations and brands such as Dublin Fringe Festival, Project Arts Centre, Redbull, Free Now, Jafaris, Erica Cody, Dublin City Council and many more where she was able to style and produce big-scale projects viewed and/or attended by diverse audiences.
She is also featured as a NXT GEN Artist under Not Another Intl. and is currently the fashion editor of VIP Publishing, working across Stellar, VIP and TV NOW Magazine on all fashion content such as covers, features, shoots and editorials.

Léa Berger is the Creative Lead at Morrama, an award-winning London based industrial design consultancy.
Léa moved to the UK in 2013 and gained experience working at studios such as LAYER and Map Project Office before joining Morrama 7 years ago, where she helps to build and maintain a sense of design thinking within the team.

With over 18 years’ experience Martin is Design Director at RichardsDee, a premier strategic and creative branding agency based in Dublin and specialising in brand strategy, design, engagement, and communications. Drawing on his career experience from both London and Dublin, Martin works closely with clients to ensure their strategic ambitions and objectives are brought to life with equally ambitious and engaging creative experiences. Whether creating brands from scratch, repositioning them during times of transformation, or refreshing them for future growth, Martin and RichardsDee’s approach seamlessly combines strategic insight with focused creativity.
Through his experiences learned leading branding programmes for B2B clients across diverse sectors such as Food & Agriculture, Travel & Tourism and Energy & Utilities, Martin has gained a unique insight into managing complex brands and an ability to align organisations behind a shared ambition and creative goal.
Martin has led key branding projects for Kerry Group, Alltech, Uisce Éireann, Bord na Móna, House of HR and Bewley’s. His work has been recognised both nationally and internationally by IDI, Transform Europe and the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP).
Pedro is a multidisciplinary designer specialising in art direction, identity, spatial, and signage design. Beginning his design journey at the age of 15, Pedro honed his skills in eminent design studios before joining Pentagram New York, where he served as an Associate Partner for over a decade. During his tenure, he collaborated with high-profile clients such as Nike, lululemon, Google, Samsung, Spotify, Nubank, Grace Farms, Cooper Hewitt, and the Mellon Foundation, as well as acclaimed architects like Sanaa, Snøhetta, DS+R, Mass Architects, Grimshaw, and SHoP Architects.
In 2023, he co-founded Associate, demonstrating his commitment to innovative design. He holds a BA in Visual Communication from ESEIG and is a respected educator at the School of Visual Arts. Pedro’s work has garnered numerous design awards from the Art Directors Club, Type Directors Club, D&AD, Communication Arts, and SEGD, with recognition across Asia, Europe, and the US.
Kevin is an IDI Board Director and is currently Creative Director at Checkout.com, Europe’s leading FinTech. Originally a Vis Comm graduate of TUD, he subsequently completed his doctorate in design at Kingston University in 2015, focusing on the development of practice-based visual methods. He has presented at numerous conferences, including ATypI and the International Visual Methods Conference, and most recently at the UK Creative Festival. In 2021, he completed his Executive MBA with distinction at Warwick Business School, with a focus on creative leadership and innovation in business. Kevin is particularly passionate about the value in-house creative functions can create for business, as well as the impact of inclusive design practices for under-represented communities.

Over the course of his career, Paul has led projects for clients such as Google, Volkswagen, Lucid Motors, Red Bull, the City of Santa Monica and many others. His by-lines regularly appear in publications including Fast Company, Creative Review, AdWeek, The Drum, and Automotive World. He is a holder of several patents in automotive experience design.
Paul’s best-selling book on creative culture, How To Do Great Work Without Being An Asshole, was published worldwide in 2019 via Laurence King and has been translated into 10 languages. His follow-up book, Sh*t They Didn’t Tell You, a how-to guide for young creatives looking to start a career in the industry, was released in 2021.
Paul is the current president of AIGA Los Angeles. He lives in Pasadena with his wife Nora and a very stubborn basset hound.

Dr Linzi Ryan is an associate professor and Director of Research in the Department of Design Innovation at Maynooth University. Her research interests are in user-centred design in a broad range of areas such as public sector reform, service innovation, entrepreneurship and enterprise development, and addressing large-scale societal issues. Prior to joining Maynooth University, she was a Business Development Engineer in the Precision Engineering and Materials (PEM) Technology Gateway, facilitating collaboration between industry and academia for the commercialisation of research; and Project Manager on the INTERRG Project ‘Extending independent living for older people’, which resulted in a permanent change to the delivery of dementia services in the North-West of Ireland. She earned her PhD in the area of Product Service Systems, transitioning organisational culture from product to service-orientated.

Keith is an accomplished creative director with over 20 years of experience in the branding and design industry. As a key member of Red&Grey, an award-winning creative agency, he brings an exceptional level of creativity coupled with a strong business focus. His expertise lies in branding and design, and he has worked with both Irish and international brands across a wide range of projects, varying in size and scale.
His skills encompass branding and creative design for print, digital, exhibition, advertising, and packaging, all aimed at helping clients stand out and become outstanding brands. His exceptional work has garnered recognition, with several awards in Ireland and European design competitions. He has worked with clients such as RTÉ, Fáilte Ireland, Ibec, National Museum of Ireland, Trinity College, and Oxford University.
He is an award winning designer with the European Design Awards, the Institute of Creative Advertising & Design (ICAD) and the Institute of Designers (IDI). In summary, Keith’s extensive experience, exceptional creativity, and business focus make him a valuable asset to any brand looking to stand out and make an impact.
Eimear O’Sullivan is Head of Design at The Public House. With over 15 years’ experience in both design and advertising, she has worked with a diverse client base, across both public and private sectors, here in Ireland and in Australia. Eimear has experience working with niche start-ups, as well as large corporates such as Mercedes Benz and AMEX, along with not for profits like St Vincent’s Health Australia, The Cancer Council, The Children’s Health Foundation and Barnardos. Her specific areas of expertise are branding and packaging with an aim to create disruptive brand identities that break category norms and stand out.

Eimear studied architecture at University College Dublin, the Oslo School of Architecture of Design and the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing.
Eimear joined O’Donnell + Tuomey in 2016, was appointed Associate in 2017 and Associate Director in 2020. She set up O’Donnell + Tuomey’s London office and is currently working on projects in London such as a new outpost for the V&A Museum and a new 550 seat dance theatre with studios and public spaces for Sadler’s Wells at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Eimear is currently a member of the Design South East Expert Panel, providing advice on major schemes throughout design development and the planning process to local planning authorities in London and the South East of the UK.
She is an Associate Lecturer at Central Saint Martins in London and has visited many other institutions as a guest critic/examiner including London Metropolitan University, Kingston University and University of Westminster.
Richard Healy is an associate principal and senior interior designer with over ten years of experience delivering impactful projects across sectors, including workplace, commercial, hospitality, retail and multi-residential.
Deeply invested from the early design stages, Richard works closely with clients, actively listening to thoroughly understand their briefs and objectives. This collaborative approach fosters genuine and lasting relationships, allowing him to develop invaluable design solutions that exceed expectations.
In every project, Richard first looks at the context – the architecture, environment, and materiality – to find conceptual points that provide a holistic and nuanced approach to a design. This research-driven process ensures that the interior spaces are designed with purpose and meaning for those who will eventually inhabit them.
Steven McNamara is the founder of award-winning design studio, ROJI. He is passionate about promoting good design and has spoken on panel discussions and as a guest lecturer at international design events such as London Design Festival and Helsinki Design Week.
In 2012 he led a multi-disciplinary collective to represent and promote Irish design on behalf of PIVOT Dublin at World Design Capital Helsinki. Since then, he has continued to showcase the best of Irish design by curating and designing exhibitions to critical acclaim from Wallpaper* Magazine, The New York Times and CNN Style.
Steven is Design Project Manager with the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland with a focus on growing Irish Design Week into an internationally recognised leading design event while championing the diversity of world-class Irish design.
Steven was awarded Exhibition Design of the Year in 2017, 2016 and 2015, and Graduate Designer of the Year 2014 by the Institute of Designers of Ireland.
Keith has over 16 years’ experience in commercial and residential interior fitout, design strategy/management, and (hospitality) lifestyle brand creation. He is currently acting as design and product lead for Lioncor and is tasked with developing a best-in-class multifamily (BTR) product due to enter the Irish market in Q4 2024.
Before this, he led the design team at Staycity, one of Europe’s leading aparthotel operators, where he created the Look and Feel of the brand ahead of its planned growth to 15,000 units. He also led the design and brand creation of the groups’ new lifestyle and premium offering – WILDE Aparthotels by Staycity.
He is passionate about creating exceptional places for people to live, eat, and sleep – informed by data and ensuring that operational efficiencies, ESG strategy and customer experience are inherent to decision making from the outset.
Creativity, innovation, design excellence and the pursuit of quality underpin his approach – irrespective of the scale of the project in hand.
Helen is an interior designer with over 17 years’ industry experience both in Ireland and internationally. Currently a Principal Designer for Helene Broderick Interiors, she is responsible for the design co-ordination of the interiors within their high-end residential portfolio. Prior to this, Helen worked in Melbourne, Australia on numerous award winning, hospitality and multi-residential projects. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design from Dublin Institute of Technology.

Dr Mary Ann Bolger is Head of Media Arts in the School of Media, TU Dublin. Previously she lectured in Design History and Visual Culture in the School of Art & Design. She received her doctorate, on mid-twentieth century Irish graphic design and typography, from the Royal College of Art, London. Publications include the monograph Design Factory: On the Edge of Europe (Dublin: Lilliput & Amsterdam: BIS, 2009) and a chapter on typographic commemoration in Making 1916: Material and Visual Culture of the Easter Rising, edited by Lisa Godson and Joanna Brück (Liverpool University Press, 2015). Mary Ann is a peer reviewer for the Journal of Design History and represented Ireland as country delegate to the Association Typographique Internationale (ATypI) from 2005 to 2022. With Clare Bell, Mary Ann programmes the GradCAM research group Typography Ireland.

Her background is in Visual Communications Design, Design Research and Brand Strategy, with a particular focus on humanity-centred design practice.
Her industry experience spans 10 years working across research, strategy and design, helping some of the world’s most interesting and innovative consumer, professional and healthcare brands understand the people they are interested in, their markets and the wider systems in which they operate. She has authored and commissioned writing on design culture and practice for Design Week, Oonagh Young Gallery and 100 Archive, and sits on 100 Archive’s Steering Committee.
An influential leader in design and innovation, Cuan Hanly, born in Dublin, Ireland, recognised from an early age his life would centre on style and culture. After studying fashion design, Hanly began his career at Paul Smith in London where he gained unique industry experience in a rapidly growing leading luxury brand.
Hanly then founded his eponymous menswear label in Ireland and building on his growing presence within the Irish fashion industry opened a multi brand store that provided a forward thinking retail environment to highlight the work of both Irish and international designers alongside his own collection. During this period, Hanly was an early and very active member of the IDI leadership committee and its many events and awards.
Following a move to New York, Hanly has been a creative leader for multiple iconic global brands such as Jack Spade, Target and most recently as Chief Design Officer at the renowned disruptor travel product brand Away.
As a committed sustainability advocate, Hanly’s design philosophy focuses on product innovation, human centred design thinking and circularity. Hanly currently lives in Brooklyn, NY working as a consultant brand, design and product strategist.
James is the Senior Design Advisor for promoting Universal Design in Products and Services in Ireland at the National Disability Authority’s Centre for Excellence in Universal Design. He works on research, education, guidance and contributes to ISO and CEN standards committees. He is the Convenor of CEN-CENELEC JWG 5, Design for All and was Co-chair of NSAI Universal Design for Energy Suppliers and NSAI I.S. 373: Universal Design for Tourism, standards.
He helped to develop a unique suite of Universal Design Standards and Toolkits that have received Innovative Policy, Zero Project Awards.
He had also worked over 20 years at university in the USA, teaching, consulting and supervising new product development with a focus on Human Factors/Ergonomics engineering and Assistive Technology.
Dr Khaoula Ben Khaled is a designer, lecturer, researcher, trainer, instructor and coach in Image Design, communication and UX-UI design. Since she finished her MSc in Design Arts and Technologies from the leading university in Design in Tunisia, the Higher School of Sciences and Technologies of Design (ESSTED), she pursued an academic career of more than 14 years, teaching first at ESSTED, then at the Higher Institute of Multimedia Arts of Manouba (ISAMM), and currently at the IBAT College Dublin (Ireland).
Dr Khaoula received her PhD in SIC (Information and Communication Sciences) from the Polytechnic University Hauts-de-France (UPHF) – DeVisu Laboratory, in Valenciennes (France) in 2021 and since then she has been working with LARSH Laboratory on a part-time base on several EU projects.
Her main research interests are in design, graphic design, communication and more specifically in UXD (User eXperience Design), LivXD (Living eXperience Design), advertising and visual design.
Stephen worked in design and brand development at studios in Dublin and London for over 20 years before founding Chart in 2023. Chart is a brand design and communications studio that uses research, insight and imagination to design compelling brands and purposeful communications, helping businesses to navigate change, map new directions and deliver impact.
Stephen is a passionate advocate for design and sustainability. Stephen was previously a member of the 100 Archive steering committee, served as a previous judge for the IDI and is currently a member of the steering panel for Design Declares Ireland.
Rebecca Wright is Dean of School at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London where she oversees academic programmes in Creative Enterprise; Graphic Communication Design; Product, Ceramic and Industrial Design; and Spatial Practices. She is Reader in Graphic Design for Public Purpose and co-founder of GraphicDesign&, a curatorial and publishing house that advocates for what graphic design can do and the value that it brings, through projects that partner graphic design with other disciplines. Rebecca has been Vice President of ico_D, a trustee of D&AD, and was recently the first D&AD President from the world of design education.
