Amply, a high-growth adtech company, faced a significant challenge to fulfil its potential and sustain its growth in Audience.
Amply’s legacy branding, tied to Jobbio, no longer represented its potential as an independent platform serving publishers, brands, and audiences. The challenge was to redefine Amply’s brand, repositioning it as a dynamic and forward-thinking entity within a complex, fast-evolving ecosystem where adtech is often seen as a ‘dirty word’.
The brief was twofold: establish Amply’s unique proposition and create a visual and verbal identity that could future-proof the brand. We needed to craft a narrative that would resonate not only with Amply’s current industry but also across future sectors. The design intent was to create a flexible, adaptable identity system that could scale as the business expanded into new markets, while also empowering internal teams to maintain consistency in brand communication.
How the brief was fulfilled
The solution to Amply’s rebranding lay in redefining its mission as a brand that creates moments of value for audiences that matter. With a focus on the future, we positioned Amply as a platform that moves audiences to act, empowering publishers and brands to unlock untapped potential.
The visual identity operates in ‘dark mode’, symbolising exploration of the unknown, while Amply’s signature green acts as a vibrant beacon, guiding users through complex ecosystems. Central to the identity is the ‘Amply murmur’, a flexible visual motif representing Amply’s evolving, interactive nature. This motif operates in four modes — Interact, Explore, Distil, and Elevate — used across digital and print applications, from hero messaging to key visual touchpoints.
We ensured the brand was not only distinctive but also practical. The new design system provided a user-friendly framework for Amply’s internal teams. We developed comprehensive brand guidelines that included everything from animated assets and marketing templates to website design, all optimised for ease of use and adaptability.
Our collaboration with Amply’s team extended across multiple deliverables, including sales and investor presentations, digital marketing templates, and event collateral. The website, built using creative coding, features interactive elements that reflect the brand’s fluid and dynamic nature, supporting Amply’s mission to engage audiences deeply and meaningfully.
Significantly, this rebranding supported Amply’s expansion beyond its legacy product, positioning it as a stand-alone player in the adtech space. Since the rebrand, Amply has scaled to over 100 partners, and now reaches over 1 billion people monthly through thousands of articles globally. The success of this brand strategy lies in its ability to future-proof the company, providing a clear roadmap for growth and adaptability. We continue to support Amply through ongoing strategic and creative guidance, ensuring the brand remains impactful and relevant in a rapidly changing market.
