“We would like to nominate Doug Leddin for the Client Appreciation Award as we feel he has shown continual and unwavering support and appreciation for the value that good design brings to his projects.

Doug currently works with Dingle Distillery as their marketing manager but has previously approached us for countless other projects over the years with his own company Dead End Marketing. He understands the value of good design and he sees that the investment in such comes back in so many other ways including client satisfaction and loyalty as well as monetary ROI.

One of the first projects that we worked with Doug on was also a previous IDI winner – the gin and tonic tables for An Pucan in Galway. This project was to transform their existing beer garden into a gin and tonic oasis complete with custom furniture, lighting and artwork. This project demonstrated Doug’s commitment to good design as he was enthusiastic about us using innovative methods to achieve a fantastic result. He allowed us complete creative freedom which enabled us to explore exciting new materials and methods which ultimately led us to create these one off pieces and win an IDI Award to boot! Another benefit to this project was it enabled us to invest in other young design talent at the time by using street artist KinMix to create her own artwork in the garden. The award winning garden design was a result of Doug’s commitment to our process and to good design.
