Design Challenge and Design Ideas
The Drinks Ireland Annual Review, is designed to champion Ireland’s best loved drinks brands. The aim of the review is to highlight headline statistical information on the drinks industry, along with updates on the key issues affecting the sector. Our challenge was to creative a consistent visual system across various different drinks associations.
How the brief was fulfilled
Inspired by the dance choreography of Busby Berkeley we created geometric patterns using glasses from each of the different drinks’ associations. The photographs form a set of graphic images used to engage the viewer and enhance the information statistics. The Ibec colour and type system is applied over the contrasting photographic patterns. The images were also blown up as large scale backdrops, posters and presentation screens.
