“There are four provinces in Ireland, the fifth province is one of imagination that lives at the centre of Ireland. In Irish folklore this is ’otherworld’ is where the citizens of Irish imagination reside.

Taking the idea of the fifth province, we produced an online prospectus for the National College of Art & Design (NCAD). We opened a gateway into an otherworld where the user is introduced to the NCAD citizens of creativity. You are invited to explore this world, watch the videos, see the citizens, and read their quotes. The gateway is left open at all times for you to return and learn more about the courses on offer, alumni stories and application procedures. Be careful though, if you leave a page open for too long certain items may escape from the otherworld and come into our own…”

How the brief was fulfilled

“The online prospectus showcases NCAD as an energetic institution that encourages you to apply creative thinking, ask critical questions, practice inventive making, understand new methodologies, dream and seek the unknown in the everyday.
