This title sequence for TV3’s (now Virgin Media’s) new current affairs show consists of a compendium of simple animated tongue & cheek gifs and boomerangs. This collection of snappy images is arranged and composed within the constantly shifting grid system. Each with its own story to tell, this collective encapsulates the essence of current affairs home and abroad.

How the brief was fulfilled

The fast paced track ‘Uprising’ by Muse, galvanizes the looping nature of the imagery. The arrangement of the imagery builds with the music; evolves at the musical pivots, with new visuals emerging throughout. The colour palette was dark to blend within the night time slot, while also retaining a soft nod to the world of news and current affairs. With a final resolve to the show logo, and a linear chroma key wipe into studio.
